I know that some are very impressed with the camera whilst others have particular issues. This video explores how the device compares to a professional camera and some of the best Settings, thought it was worth sharing.

No raw support, outdated slow autofocus, so it compares badly.

The hardware on the S24 Ultra is very capable, but the camera app might need a few more optimisations. User experience will differ from one use to the other.
Earlier on I posted this https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s24-series/s24-ultra-camera-vs-mirrorless-camera/m-p/9417...
It gives a nice comparison against a professional camera.
Phone photography has improved enormously and some shots can be very good and it could match a camera on certain conditions.
However, I do not expect a phone to equal a camera for photography. The price of a good camera and good lenses could buy a few flagship phones. So, considering that we are buying a phone, IMHO, the S24 Ultra is not doing too badly.
This is the video on the thread.

However, I noticed the sharpness it's better when you use Natural mode than if you put filters, but I like to put filters because it makes the picture better, and the camera should be sharp.

Hi @Star_girl
I will start by saying, that in my opinion, the camera should be better at release time. It is a premium product, and we expect to behave as such. I am not going to defend Samsung for that.
However, making the camera app to take pictures of greater quality is an incremental process. I have said before, this is a phone with pictures capabilities. Most cameras, if not all, professional or otherwise receives firmware updates to refine their performance. Cameras only need to take in consideration the camera and the lenses.
These phones are complex computers. The camera is integrated with other apps, meaning that a fix here could cause a bug there. It takes time to get all moving parts fitting nicely together. It is something that happens in all devices that receive software updates, by software updates, I mean any update which is code based, OS, firmware, drivers, apps, filters, etc.
I did expect some improvements with the last firmware update, but I was not expecting a fix for all issues. Debugging and fixing code is a very laborious job, especially in “almost working” situations.
