Home button double tap

Hi, I have a problem with my samsung.S twenty four ultra. There was a home but done. Double table or take me to an app. What I used to set, but somehow it does disappear. It's not. It's not taking me anywhere when I double tip my home button. Does anyone know how any abilities? I can't remember it was somewhere in the gesture settings, but I can find this. Anywhere.Please let me know if you know how to set the double tap feature on home button that would take me to an app. What I used to set, but somehow it just disappear. @shamma: In order to customise this feature, please follow the steps below. 

Settings > Advanced features > Side button > Double press (On) > Open app (tap the cog to the right) > Select the relevant app. 

Please note that it is not possible to map the Home button to open a specified app, although you can press and hold the Home button to access Circle to search, and Google Assistant.

Hi. I know the side button double tap can take me to a default set app that I set manually. However the home button double tap did also take me to an app that I set previous. Initially, the double tap home button would take me to the google search feature, but I changed it to my desired app. My other gesture seems to be working fine for example, I set back button as a camera if I press for a few seconds, but the home button is not working. I cant remember how I did that 😳

Which previous phone did you have this option on @shamma 

I've looked in the phone's native settings , Nova Prime Launcher, and Goodlocks Navstar plug in ,and cannot find such an option I'm afraid.

Hello. I have been using samsungs24 ultra for a few months and that feature had enabled since I strated using this phone.. It's just today I saw this feature is not working. I also checked goodlock just in case I used that from there but unfortunately I can't find that.

Hi, not sure if this is what your after but have found a way to change the Home button and online it's being called remap home button, so really hope it helps here are the steps, - Settings - Apps - Choose default apps - Digital assistant app - Then choose what you want the Home button to do, best of look it's what your after 🤞🤞

Hi. Thank you for your suggestion. However, that wasn't the solution I was after. I did try that too, but that gave me only a few options to remap the button. Thank God I've just found what I did regarding my app to be in that home button when I double tap it 😄😄

I have the S22ultra and yes, if you double tap the screen when it's idle it opens the phone to use. I was even told that when the network provider in the store showed me how to use my new phone. So you were ✅️

Hi. Thank you for your comment. That's a different function. This function is already enabled in my phone. My problem was something else however it's solved 😊.
