I have a Samsung S24 Ultra, and I'm experiencing a strange issue. On both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi bands, my router(Local Network) ping is around 20 milliseconds, while other devices show a ping of 5-6 milliseconds on the same network. I even performed a factory reset on my phone, but the issue persists. I wanted to ask other S24 Ultra users if they are facing the same problem. Galaxy S24 Ultra

Thank you, can you send screen shot here from ping results?

"Thank you. If possible, could you please take a screenshot of the ping result and upload it here?"

My concern is not about this specific app, but rather any app designed for ping testing. I don’t insist on installing this app; I just want to check whether the high ping issue I’m experiencing is the same on other devices. This way, I can figure out if the problem is with my phone or something else.

To ping a device or check network performance, you can use several Android apps. These apps allow you to test the connection and measure the ping to a specific IP or URL.
Here are a few recommended apps for Android:
1. PingTools Network Utilities
2. Fing - Network Tools
3. Network Analyzer
4. NetPing
Steps to Ping:
1. Download and install one of the apps mentioned above.
2. Open the app and find the "Ping" option.
3. Enter the IP address or URL you want to ping. If you're testing your Wi-Fi connection, you can ping the router's IP address, which is usually 192.168.1.1 for most Wi-Fi modems.
4. Tap "Start" or "Ping" to begin testing.
The ping time will be displayed in milliseconds (ms), showing how long it takes for a signal to travel to the target and back.
Most of these apps calculate and display the average ping for multiple attempts. For example, if the app performs 6 pings, it will calculate and display the average time of those 6 pings.
