Google Wallet won't work for contactless payments

Since updating to the latest version of One UI 7, my Google Wallet has stopped working for contactless payments. When I open the app, I receive a message stating that my device does not meet security requirements.

I reported this issue to Google, and after a few days, they confirmed that the problem is related to Samsung, advising me to reach out to them. I submitted feedback to Samsung regarding this issue, but I have yet to receive a response.

This is just one of many issues I’ve encountered with the One UI 7 update. In hindsight, I regret installing it. When I initially experienced problems, I contacted Samsung, and the support representative suggested performing a factory reset to revert to the original software. However, this would require me to set up my device from scratch and restore all my data, which had already taken me several days to organize. Unfortunately, their response was that there was nothing else they could do.

Overall, my experience with Samsung's customer service has been disappointing, and I am frustrated by the lack of support in resolving this issue.

It's quite obvious nobody tends to read any notice Samsung puts out regarding this issue.

If it worked previously then lucky you. You were already informed in the update note you claimed to read. I had not been able to use it from the first beta.

So this is not an issue 🙄

Bad thing is Halifax doesn't even support samsung wallet

Neither does barclays (my bank) so I use curve. What I'd suggest is using Samsung Wallet. If your bank doesn't support it, you can use Curve and then connect Curve to Samsung Wallet

I have tried to connect Halifax through samsung wallet but doesn't allow it. Keeps stating doesn't support it.

Like I've said multiple times, not Samsung Wallet. Download the Curve app. Open the Curve app, connect your bank to the Curve app. Then go to Samsung Wallet, grab the details from your Curve card, and link that to Samsung Pay.

Curve supports Halifax to my knowledge. Have a look here

Yes it does it had curve on my previous device and had Halifax but I dont know why this time it doesn't let me add it. Even Lloyds is the same.. but santander is fine goes through without any issues

I guess thats an issue with Halifax then? As its working with santander. Maybe try contacting curve support/bank
