Google messages/ gmail

Samsung tries to get rid of their own text messages app and email ,replacing them with Google messages or Gmail.

Thats fine by me,however, why we,the customers, cannot themed theses apps?

I opened Google messages and has a different colour pallet and a different text font even thogh I have applied a GoodLock theme(or any them from Galaxy Store), WHY???

If you do the switch, do it properly, so ,we,the customers ,don't have to see any changes... Samsung, please dude!!!

Google Messages albeit can be customised can't be as customised as much as Samsung Messages. 

Might be worth pushing some feedback to Google 🤔 

Right now I'm hanging onto Samsung Messages as I don't use RCS anyway.

I have this concern a while back,but now ,Samsung, officially said their native messaging app will be replaced by Google *****(yeah i know comes with some benefits) ,but ,please, do it seamlessly

Glad I'm not the only one who thought the same so I will continue to use Samsung messages.

I do use mainly WhatsApp as text/images/ videos, and don't really care of RCS or google messages. I tried Google pixel 7p and the 8p,but the whole UI it is a mess in my opinion.
Samsung UI( without google or Microsoft integration) it is so sweet and full of great features... why ruin it

So, your question will need to go to Google as they are responsible for their messages app, not Samsung.

Who knows, maybe Google will integrate with GoodLock in the future (I'm 50/50 on that idea)

I've viewed quite a few Samsung Messages vs Google Messages, and I must say I prefer Samsung Messages, but that maybe me resisting change. 

For now I'm happy to dismiss the pop up message asking to change.

I'm sure Samsung will want this to be as seamless as possible.

I use WhatsApp but mainly to send photos and for a Family and Work group chat @Catt78 

I know Samsung are fazing out RCS in their messaging app.

However I have never used the other Samsung App that is for RCS usage. 

I'm not completely sure why Samsung have moved to this change, but it maybe because Samsung and Google are becoming involved more and more in collaboration.
