Starting from yesterday my Google messages are delayed on my S24+. Sometimes they don't pop up on my phone until a couple of hours later? Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions to fix this?
Example below shows timestamp 8:42am but didn't receive until 11:06am:

Unfortunately, I do not use Google Messages.
I use the Samsung Messages app, to which messages come through fine. However, @Jasono
It could be a range of issues concerning connection and congestion.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

It is not dead, it comes installed by default on Galaxy phones.

Hi @Jasono
I can send messages with GM and they are sent and received immediately. I just tested. This could be a network issue.
Another possible cause is if you are using RCS chats. If you sent an RCS chat, it will not be sent until the phone has access to mobile data or Wi-Fi. In addition, the other person must have RCS enable as well.
You could try disabling RCS chat or checking that if not available the message is sent as SMS/MMS.
On Google messages:
Settings -> RCS chats -> Turn on RCS chats (check that this is toggle off)
If you wish to keep them enabled, then check that the messages are sent as SMS/MMS if RCS cannot be sent.
Settings -> RCS chats -> Automatically resend as text (SMS/MMS) (Check that this is toggle on)
