S24 Ultra Display Issue

Hello,

I switched over from the iPhone to Samsung at the beginning of Feb. The device in general has been incredible and the battery life fantastic.

I've recently noticed that I have lines appearing throughout the screen on certain colours and images.

I was recommended to use the testmyscreen website and this was the outcome. Is this normal or do I have a faulty device?

It's the green and blue images where it really shows.

I appreciate any advice you may be able to give!

Does this affect the the normal use of your phone @the-nar-1865 i.e when surfing etc ?

Have a look at the colour test panels by launching your phone app and dialing *#0*#

Thanks for replying @BandOfBrothers, I notice it occasionally when browsing but primarily when I'm watching YouTube or Netflix. The more I notice it the more it seems to get in the way. Could just be me over thinking it? The test panels didn't show it but the testmyscreen gradient options did?

If you perform a forum search you will find threads concerning banding etc. 

I'll run the test panels on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra and post them for you.

Thank you! I came across a few posts on here and Reddit that seem to be similar. A few people have had replacements sent out but I wasn't sure if it's normal or not. Having been an iPhone user this is all new to me

Is it worth going for a replacement then? Seems the Display could be faulty with mine?

There does seem to be a difference between yours and mine, I agree.

If you're still within your cooling-off period, then yes, I'd ask for a swap out.
