Hello,

I switched over from the iPhone to Samsung at the beginning of Feb. The device in general has been incredible and the battery life fantastic.

I've recently noticed that I have lines appearing throughout the screen on certain colours and images.

I was recommended to use the testmyscreen website and this was the outcome. Is this normal or do I have a faulty device?

It's the green and blue images where it really shows.

I appreciate any advice you may be able to give!

Is the cooling-off period the equivalent as the UK 14 days return policy? Unfortunately I'm passed that window now, would this not be under warranty if its a faulty device?

So, if a person buys directly from Samsung UK, they have a 14-day cooling-off period to request a replacement or refund.

After the 14 days, a repair is offered if a fault is diagnosed.

Other retailers may have their own Terms and Conditions @the-nar-1865

Oaky thank you, I appreciate your help. I'm passed the cooling off period so will need to speak to Samsung about how to resolve this. Hopefully something can be sorted 🤞

Samsung offered to send out a replacement within 10 days of receiving this device. Since I can't be without a phone for work and I've been very fortunate with battery life, camera quality and every other aspect of this phone, I decided not to move forward with the replacement.

I also noticed that the issue is hard to see (unless you're really looking for it) on 'Natural' display setting.

Overall it's an incredible device

To be fair, the customer support was actually really good as well! I had read some horror stories on reddit but was quite impressed 👌 first time being an android users so still getting use to everything
