Google maps

When I use Google maps on my s24 ultra 512gb, every now and again the whole phone freezes and becomes unresponsive.

Contacted tech chat and they advised me to put phone in safe mode.

Did that and as the phone when in safe mode,goes onto airplane mode and goes off line.

The chat guru said that since I didn't answer he would close the chat! Wtf

Still no joy after restarting the phone,then was told to reset it but it has done it since brand new.

Then was told to send phone in to get it diagnosed and fixed,so I'd be without a phone for goodness knows how long.

Come on techy guys bring out an update that will fix the above.

I also have a problem with google maps on my Samsung galaxy S24. The maps don't work at all, as soon as I turn on navigate, the GPS signal is lost. Other maps work.

Even i have the same problem, s23 ultra, it seems it is a software issue not sure whether samsung or google can help resolving it

Samsung say its Googles problem and obviously Google say it's a Samsung problem 🙄

We have to write a lot of google maps app reviews as well. Hopefully someone will notice this problem. An update came out today, but the problem persists.

Just bought my first Samsung (S24+  512GB). I had Xiaomi before without any issue and it was cheap phone. I decided to buy something way more expensive as my next phone. The first thing, that bugs me is sync with OneDrive, which is not organizing photos into folders Year/Month. And this! ***** the Google Map app is unusable. I went to Creta for a week with it and boi oh boi it screwed me hard time. I am so ***** pissed. Waze works as expected. But Google Maps for navigation or compass when I am just walking around? Hope there will be fix soon...

Please everyone write to Samsung by email because according to their repair center, they have no idea about this failure while there are many people who complain about the GPS not working write them an email so that they can react because apparently it is a software defect.

My understanding is the Galaxy 24 no longer works with Google maps. My android auto doesn't even open up. I can only makes calles when I call from my phone. I can hear the call in the car but can use the "Google call..." feature. Very frustrating. Thinking any changing to an iPhone.

I am facing the same issue with Google Maps.

Tried all the options and suggestion provided in the Forum, but of no use.
