Gear s3 frontier not working with s24 ultra

I've just tried to set up my gear s3 frontier watch with my new s24 ultra and keep getting a message saying that Samsung no longer support this device. So what, - do I just chuck it in the bin now? 😡😡

Why would I want to "downgrade" my new s24 ultra? It's replacing my s22 ultra!

If it helps at all which it probably doesn't, then right now you can get a £75 to £100 trade in discount against a watch 5 pro or a watch 6.

So it is still worth considering to keep it to use as a trade in option.

At certain promotional times these trade in prices are elevated.

Last year I traded a watch3 for a watch5 Pro... and got a healthy discount for doing so.

Just saw Louis rossman video on this, utterly disgusting behaviour from Samsung. Request a refund from them for bricking your device for no reason, spam them on twitter and make it seen. If your watch works it was only broken by them.

I'm still going to keep my frontier 3 I love the watch I will just use it as a standalone watch for now I can still link it to an old phone if I so wish though it's a shame they can't make it work with new phones even if it's got limited functions I would be happy with that

I also have a watch 4 which is OK but smaller than my frontier 3 I suppose I like the frontier because of the size of it and it feels very comfortable for me
