I do have the Automatic Setting turned on. However in general there may be issues with auto updates if the internet connection is not strong enough, enabling Auto updates over any Network is generally recommended as long as you have a large Data Allowance, otherwise choose wifi only. A power saving mode can also cause issues as background activity is limited, a more obvious one but also ensure you have sufficient storage. If i using this method and have issues clearing the cache and Data of the app stores may help. However some prefer to update Manually anyway.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

@PARTICIPANTOBSE: Further to the above, please open the Galaxy Store > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Tap the cog in the top right > About Galaxy Store > Auto update Galaxy Store, then choose your network preferences (Using Wi-Fi only, or Using Wi-Fi or mobile data).
This will push through any available updates next time you open the Galaxy Store, based on your chosen preference and current network connection.
