I just purchased a Galaxy S24U from Europe (UNLOCKED) and I'm wondering if the device can recieve updates and security patches while being in the USA?
I'm planning to be there in the USA for work for a while so I'm not really sure if the phone will recieve updates or not.
Of course, I'll have wifi access but not too sure either if OTA updates or security patches will be pushed out or not even if on wifi.

@Imvin251: Further to the above, please follow the link below, and click on 'How Do I Get Smart Switch On My PC or Mac' to download the relevant version
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-backup-my-smartphone-to-my-pc-or-mac/
Once installed, open Smart Switch, connect your S24 Ultra using the USB cable that came packaged with the device, and look for an update prompt on the landing page, next to your device details.

Thank you for your question. As long as your device has a SIM card relevant to the region it was bought in and used for a few calls in that region, your device should be fine when traveling in the US.

That's kind of sad...and I thought that Samsung had dropped the regional locking so that i don't need to make the 5 to 10 minute calls in order to lift the region lock.
Just to confirm, that the updates will not be pushed out at all once I use the phone in the USA or would there be just a big delay?
