After owning several Galaxy phones (S1, S4, Note 4), this phone is a massive disappointment.
Forget competing with flagships, it can't even match Samsung’s older models. The Note 4 outperforms it. Colors look fake, the optimizer ruins every shot, and video stabilization is laughable. Even my old devices handle motion better. And Samsung? No fixes, no updates, nothing.
No, I don’t need tips to enhance my photos. A $1,000 phone should take good photos out of the box, not require RAW exports or Pro mode.
This just proves YouTubers are paid to praise garbage. I regret trusting Samsung again.
I'm so dissatisfied with it, yet I'm still waiting for Samsung for an update since they fixed the wired camera lens buzz while focusing.

I did so, they just linked me to figure out a solution on community pages like this one...

There is 3 types of answers you’ll get on these forums, unfortunatelly it looks like people can’t handle the truth
- learn how to use cameras
- my phone works perfectly, it must be your defected device
- it’s too early, wait for updates.
As someone who has been there, done that, none of this will help. Sad truth is that today Samsung is among the worst when it comes to cameras. At least reliable point and shoot experience. Don’t expect updates to make a difference (made that mistake myself, after 10 months I sold Ultra for 1/3 money I invested), it’s just placebo. If they wanted to fix camera performance, it would be great from day 1, none of the problems are new, they are present every single year.
