I have purchased this phone from an online uk shop, a friend has told me I should have checked if it is uk version, is this correct? I have not taken it out of the box yet in case I send it back. Is there anyway I can check.

Hi @Jcdc1
Which online shop did you use 🤔
If you have any doubt then look at any relevant cooling off period.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask. 😎

Hi @Jcdc1
I will join the other forum members on welcoming you to the community forum.
I think the first question is which online UK shop? If you are getting it from a reputable shop, the likelihood is that the phone is for the UK market.
CSC has changed lately and it depends whether the phone has been made for a particular network or it is an unlocked phone.
The fact that it says country Europe does NOT mean that the phone is not for the UK market.
If you wish to check it, please create a Samsung account, register your device and you should get accurate information whether the phone is for the UK market or not. You could also call Samsung support and check with them directly.
I bought my S24 Ultra from Samsung.com, there is no doubt on the provenance of my phone and if I check it on samfw.com I get country: Europe.
This is the screenshot of the output after I check my EMEI. Please note that I have changed EMEI, Serial Number and Product date for security reasons.
