Hello and welcome, I am a new owner of S24 fe and I would like to receive an answer to a bizarre problem, I say, namely: -I am surprised that at the present time when almost all the competition has this trivial function in their phones, namely Full screen caller id, and Samsung does not offer it!? I understood that in the past it was but now for some reason they have removed this simple option, but which in my opinion is a must have. I have been reading various opinions of people who want it but I still do not know anything concrete from some experts and their explanation. Do you have any idea why? P.S. excluded separate application from Google Play.

Hi @Zalmoxiss

Go to phone app > contacts > search for contact you want to edit > press edit pen icon > on top it should say "create profile card" tap on that > choose image from gallery adjust the way you want > press preview button and it should show how it would look like when person calls before saving it, you can even select a video.1737399522203.jpg1737399522219.jpg1737399882236.jpg1737399882251.jpg

Master, I would give you many stars and likes because you succeeded and showed me what many don't know or don't want to. It works perfectly, the whole secret was that profile card, thanks and long life! P.S. if anyone reads these lines, I can confirm that it works and all that's left is to try it!Screenshot_20250120_222553_Call.jpg

@Zalmoxiss: This option is available, however the inbound caller information will not show in full screen while you are using an app. To change this, please open the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Call display while using apps > Select 'Full screen'.

The inbound caller information will show in full screen by default when the phone is idle. I hope this helps.

Thanks for replay! I think I didn't make myself understood better and I'll reformulate my question. I want the screen to display the caller's picture full screen and not just a small, round picture. You can edit the background but not the picture itself for each caller. From what I've read on other forums, until recently you had the option to set whatever picture you want for each person with I don't know what app ''Good Lock'' or something like that, but it seems that in my country there is no possibility to download it from the Samsung Galaxy Store. Anyway, the idea is that I want my background to display not with a small picture but only the caller's picture on a large screen, the competition does it natively and on ordinary phones. I searched the forum with this problem and as of 2020 there is no answer, although Samsung engineers promised that they would implement this function (this is how a reply from a topic on this forum reads)

@Zalmoxiss: Apologies for the confusion. As it stands, the native Phone app settings do not allow for a full screen profile picture when receiving incoming calls. If you head to the Phone app > 3 dots > Settings > Caller information > Profile picture size, then you can choose between a 'Small' and 'Large' profile picture, however this will appear in a circular frame. There's also 'Call background' which allows you to assign an image to the background when receiving calls, however this will not change depending on the contact. I apologise for any disappointment this may cause you.

Thanks for the answer, too bad, all we have to do is wait, maybe someone from their staff will decide what their customers want! Although I don't want to, all I have to do is look for a third-party application, but a good one, not like most applications that only stretch the pixels to the point where nothing is recognizable from the picture. I just can't find that application or maybe it doesn't even exist to reproduce the picture at the quality of the recorded picture!
