Frustrated S24 ultra photo quality

Hello, When I got my first s24 ultra I took amazing quality photos....to make every iPhone lovers jealous. Then there were phone updates and the quality became poor. My question to the community is this: Are there factory versions that are superior and then made inferior by updates? I tried resetting to no avail, I can't get that great quality back. I'm so frustrated. I would like your opinion.

I'd have a look in the intelligent optimisation settings to see if altering anything makes it better.

You could try and play with intelligent optimisation in camera settings set to minimum, turn off scene optimisation if its turned on, also you can download camera assistant from galaxy store turn on auto HDR setting, as well as quick tap shutter.
And in high resolution settings turn on adaptive pixel on.

Personally I use Pro raw, expert raw and have no issues as the optimisation is almost non-existent in these modes.

I'm thinking that over time you've played with settings in the camera app. You can reset these back to the beginning.

Go to:..

Camera app
Settings
Reset settings

And reset all your settings and see if that fixes your issues.

It might seem like it's hard at first with Expert Raw, Pro raw but it's not.

Recently swapped my old Huawei mate 20 pro for the Galaxy S24 ultra. The mate 20 in its day took epic photos but was 6 years old and getting tired. My missus has the S24 and takes amazing pictures. I thought I'd go one better and get the Ultra.......Ultra *****. I'm a pro photographer by trade and I can normally ring a good picture out of any camera. The S24 Ultra is dog *****. The focus is dreadful, the ISO is noisy and the colours insipid. Stuck on this contract for next 3 years. Gone back to the Mate 20 Pro which still takes better pictures than the S24Ultra.

Thank you for your comment. I think as the biggest photography issues of this S24 ultra, it's the sensitivity of the cameras. It would be necessary to be able to use the focus independently depending on the brightness.Or like a camera having a cover.But it is indeed a phone. And the greatest satisfaction and the biggest use of the S24 are languages and artificial intelligence. And it's a 100% satisfaction. To Samsung's delight and good fortune, here in Europe Huawei is no longer compatible with geopolitics. 🤐Let's keep the friendly focus on photography.👋Have a good day
