Firefox Screen Blinking on S24

Anyone else having an issue whilst using Firefox?

Since I got my phone, the screen regularly goes black and flashes or blinks whilst scrolling etc. Causing the app to close fixes it but it's happening regularly. Never used to happen on my S22.

Did you do smarthswitch transfer?

Also if it's not happening to other browsers consider either wipe the app cache or reinstall the app.

Yes, was done as Smartswitch using a cable.
Will try a cache clearance now. Thanks

I would also go into recovery mode and Clear cache partition and Repair Apps.

SmartSwitch is meant to help transferring the content from the old phone, but it causes some erratic behaviour on some apps. I tend to set my phone as new, use SmartSwitch to transfer contacts and messages, and install all apps as needed. It is a pain, but at least I do not get obsolete configuration settings that might be causing some of the problems.

Yes. Can confirm that Firefox started doing this on my new S24, but only this morning for the first time.

I did not use SmartSwitch (coming from an S20).

The problem observed only in the morning.

Disabling the adaptive colour tine seems to help, but let's see if it was just coincident or really related

Same for me on my s24. Started this morning. It was working fine till today, so shouldn't be related to smart switch

Same for me on S24+... this and the dull vivid colours are ridiculous errors by Samsung.

Cleared cache and uninstall and reinstalled. Same. I would swear ir is tapping out SOS.

Any other ideas pls?

Same thing

Reinstalled the app and nothing changed

It  works fine after a forced close though but it is only temporary
