Hello,

 

I am posting after seeing several posts recently on the same topic. I have an issue with my phone not fast charging anymore. Happened in and around the 1st July (ui6.1 and latest security patch on the 1st July).

 

I have samsung original cable and plug. Plus additional Samsung plug and charger cables. 

 

At first I thought the issue was with the cables etc.. I have also had the moisture in the port warning. I have not had any obvious exposure to water / moisture so again followed the instructions to clear debris and allow to dry out. 

 

Still the issue persists. Charging time is approx 2hr 50 mins rather than the before <60 mins. 

 

I am having the same issue with a work phone. Again have tried a combination or plugs and leads and that is showing 7hrs plus for  full charge. That phone is a Samsung Galaxy A14.

 

Has anyone been able to identify what the issue may be in any of the posts recently by those users experiencing similar problems.

Please do run the phone's Diagnostic Tool in the Samsung Members App @Eivissa to see if that highlights anything. 

And check the charging port for debris etc. 

And try > 

Usb reset.
Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device. 

If necessary a Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

I started having a similar problem on my S24 recently. Tried most of the suggestions on this forum 

Diagnostic doesnt show any issues either.

Just to add to this - no solution has been found. Phone charge performance still slow, issues with trying to charge with the phone turned off as it gives me a moisture detection warning too.

Turn fast charging toggle off and then on again, having the same issue with my a9+ tablet since updating to 6.1 everytime I plug the charger in it says 4 hrs 40 mins toggle fast charging off and then on goes to 3 hours...I know it's still slow but the tablet is 15 watt charging, definitely a software issue
