Hello,
not sure whether this is an actual OneUI 8 problem, but I can't connect my S24 to Ethernet anymore. An S24 Ultra with OneUI 7 connects just fine. The "Ethernet" section in the S24 setting is greyed out, whether there is an adapter / DexStation connected or not. I already did a "Wipe Cache Partition", with no effect.
This problem rather hurts, so any ideas would be welcome.

Update: Might in fact be some kind of a firmware bug. This helped: Switch off WiFi & Mobile Data, shut down the phone, plug in the USB-Ethernet adapter, power-on. The Phone recognizes the adapter and everything is fine.
Thanks again for your thoughts!

I tried three adapters plus the DeX Station. All of them worked in the past. And they still do with an OneUI 7 S24 Ultra. That's why I think that the OneUI 8 update might be the problem...

If this has only happened recently assume it is a compatible Adapter. Turn Ethernet on and off in Tethering. I know that this worked for one Member previously: Configure Ethernet device" with static IP and gateway, and the Save button will be enabled. Then you can re-enable the Ethernet.
otherwise You could try a Soft Reset by holding down by the Volume Down and Power Buttons simultaneously for around 10 seconds until the Device Reboots . This clears the memory and fixes some issues. I know this sort of issue has been fixed for some Members by clearing the cache partition but has not helped in your case. Ensure all apps are up to Date.
You could try a Factory Reset, obviously ensure Data is backed up before completing this step.

The "Ethernet" section in "Settings -> Connections -> More connection settings" is greyed out, even when the S24 is connected to to DeX Station or one of the adapters. Same for the ethernet section in "Tethering". And I'd be really happy if I could avoid a factory reset.
Do you have any idea what might cause the problem?
