Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a solution that worked for me after USB-C Ethernet support mysteriously stopped on my Galaxy S24+ post-update.
I tested both:
UGREEN 2.5Gbps adapter (Realtek RTL8156)
Plugable Gigabit adapter (Realtek RTL8153 / AX88179A)
Neither worked until I followed these steps (recommended by Samsung UK Support):
How to Wipe Cache Partition (No Data Loss):
Power off the device.
Connect a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
Hold Volume Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
Select Wipe cache partition → Confirm → Reboot system.
This instantly restored Ethernet functionality.
Thought I'd share in case others are stuck like I was. Let me know if it helps you!

@Members_zU4mPIa Thanks for sharing your experience, clearing the cache partition does help with some issues
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
