Do not Disturb

I think Google maps is great but I have a problem. When I drive, I always like to use bluetooth but when it is on, do not disturb becomes activated, if I try to turn it off, it comes back on.

I attach my phone to my car's bluetooth but I do like to keep bluetooth on as I was told, Google maps works under tunnels if Bluetooth is on. As I said, I have turned do not disturb off in the phone's setting but the second I do, it comes back on and the voice for turning instructions is muted and it means I am constantly looking at the phone for turn instructions. What I want to know is how do you turn do not disturb off and keep it off.

I'm pretty sure you need to turn Driving Mode off in Google Maps. Settings, Navigation Settings, Google Assistant Settings, Manage Driving Mode

I have tried it, it gives you the option to turn off do not disturb but as soon as I do and put in a destination, the second I start driving it switches back on. The only thing is that bluetooth is attached to my car if that's any help.

So you've turned off Driving Mode in the Google Maps app ?

I have deleted Google Maps and re installed it and do not disturb seems to have gone so maybe that will work. I turned off driving mode
