When using Do Not Disturb (DNB) on S24 only the contacts I select can make the S24 ring.
On my old Samsung S5 in DNB the screen would illuminate silently when a random would try and call showing me the caller so I cold choose to answer if I wanted.
On the S24 the phone remains dark and there is no indication if a random is trying to call in DNB mode.
I have tried various configurations like mixing up silent mode with DNB mode but that just keeps my accepted callers' calls silent too.
Is there any way to get the screen to silently illuminate and indicate an incoming random call that is not allowed when in DNB mode?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Try maybe with flash notification enabled under settings/accessibility/advanced settings
A routine can be set up to enable/disable screen flash setting

Hi @sg242024
Welcome to the Community Forum.
Have you tried Edge lightening? Settings -> Notifications -> Notification and pop-up style -> Edge lighting style -> Choose one style
On Settings -> Notifications, you also have App Notifications, Lock screen notifications, Do not disturb and Advanced settings which all might affect how notifications are given. You might like to have a look at those.
I usually use a blanket Do not disturb policy.

@sg242024: Presumably your phone will be visible to you, as you want the screen to illuminate silently, therefore you might benefit from simply placing the phone on Mute (Settings > Sounds and vibration > Mute) rather than using Do Not Disturb. I understand that this will mute calls from your 'preferred' contacts, but this will ensure that you are notified of all incoming calls, while not being disturbed by the vibration/ringtone.
