Dissapointed. This is the conclusion regarding the S24U. I am not gonna talk about features, battery, AI, because it doesn't matter. I want to talk about the operating noises coming from the processor as well as from one of the sensors near the front video camera.
Unfortunately, when I put my ear to the phone, I notice these noises, weak in intensity, one permanent (of the processor) and one that appears when the screen is on (the sensor). You will say that you do not hear them, or that they are irrelevant. For me, however, they are not, because it creates a state of discomfort for me. So, until Samsung decides to choose silent components, I am forced to stay with the old s22u.

The noise from the processor is like a coil noise or a whining noise, difficult to explain. It is very very fade, but is there. Maybe is something produces by another part but is coming from that area.

I have *exactly* the same problem. A strange sound like buzzing / coil whine from the top speaker (above the selfie camera), VERY noticeable during calls. I have reported it and waiting for a answer from Samsung support, to see if it's a driver / software issue, or the phone needs replacement.

My S24+ is doing the exact same thing in the exact same areas. As long as the screen is on this is occurring. Someone also suggested turning the camera on while my ear was up to it and the noise really kicked up.
My hearing is too sensitive, this is driving me nuts.
I have coverage on it but I'm almost positive they're going to say they can't duplicate the issue.
This is in addition to the ring tone volume constantly resetting to nearly silent, I keep missing calls.
I'm really disappointed, such a short time into having this device but it's far too late to do anything.
