Magnetic Cases, Safe?

Hello.

I'm upgrading from the S21, and this is my first Ultra model. I'm loving it so far. I'm looking at buying the Spigen Tough Armor with MagSafe case for it.

On my old S21, I stuck a metal plate on the back of my case for use with a magnetic in-car holder. This worked great, and I enjoyed the convenience of it.

I want the same convenience for my S22U and thought the case, along with a new holder, was the perfect solution. I've seen reviews regarding accessories affecting the S Pen, but I'm only really wanting it for the in-car holder, so I'm not really concerned about that. I have, however, read reports that the magnets can damage the antenna, NFC, and cause various other problems with the phones.

Are these valid concerns, and should I avoid magnetic cases, or are the stories false, and will I be okay getting one?

I have had no issues specifically. I am using a clear case with a magnet already attached to the case.

Coincidentally, a YT video came onto my feed regarding this exact theme... The ones he tried with mag ring on the back seemed fine with a pen.

Thanks for the link, I had seen this and also watched another video, but it's the comments people are making regarding the magnets damaging phones that concern me.

I been using a UAG Monarch Pro Kevlar Magsafe Case for a while and I've seen no negative impact. 

The only issue is when my powerbank or pop socket is attached the spen usage where the Magsafe accessory part struggles. 

The magnet is not in the Magsafe Case. They basically have a steel ring fitted into them. 

The magnet is in the accessory. 

My sPen works as it should when there is no accessory attached.

I'm in no way dismissing what these owners are saying however not one says they are an engineer of phone's and one uses the expression " I think "

At the end of the day it's your decision whether to use a Magsafe Case or not.
