Dissapointed. This is the conclusion regarding the S24U. I am not gonna talk about features, battery, AI, because it doesn't matter. I want to talk about the operating noises coming from the processor as well as from one of the sensors near the front video camera.
Unfortunately, when I put my ear to the phone, I notice these noises, weak in intensity, one permanent (of the processor) and one that appears when the screen is on (the sensor). You will say that you do not hear them, or that they are irrelevant. For me, however, they are not, because it creates a state of discomfort for me. So, until Samsung decides to choose silent components, I am forced to stay with the old s22u.

I have now the S22 Ultra and the noise is not existent. So, either the S22u has different sensor, or it is not existing, or it is a better quality.
Somebody should consider this things too in the future. It is unacceptable for me to have a device that is kept close to the year and with this kind of noises.

The sound comes exactly from the top left corner of the phone and it is like a buzz, pretty noisy and appears only when the screen is on.

Is it possible you have a faulty unit @JohnDoeandMore
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Not sure. I wrote on different groups. It seems many do hear it and also many don't mind. Go in a quiet room, relax, place the year on top of the phone, turn on and off the display and listen.
