You could use AI to delete the relevant messages.
Take s-shot of th chat.
Open image on Gallery
Tap AI logo on the left (blueish circle with stars)
Select the messages to delete.
Tap selection and hold until menu appears
Tap eraser icon to erase selection
Tap the Generate button.
You could also use the object eraser. I made a step by step on this post.

There's a somewhat hacky way to do this with the built-in tools. First to go to the Gallery and long press on the image you want to work with, then hit Create at the bottom, and choose Collage. You'll want to go to the rightmost tool and shrink the ugly white border to 0.
Get your screenshot aligned and leave a little margin on the bottom of the stuff you want gone. Then in the mini Collage box that pops up (usually upper right), select the same image and Drag the corner size controls so that you only see the second part of the conversation you wanted, then Move (top center) that box over the bottom margin you left earlier, readjusting as necessary. Also the ratio controls can be awkward, it's easier to just lay the second image over the first in Collage, then use the regular Gallery Crop tool to trim any excess from the bottom of the image.
