Hi, can someone please help me figure out how to change the font colour on the home screen(for app names for instance) - it's currently black for me, but I know when I first setup this phone it was white - I literally have a picture of the font being white the day I unpacked the phone, but I must have changed something since then because the font is black and I have no idea which setting controls it. Help please?

Most of the fint settings are in Settings > Display >Font size and style.

It might be a theme that's changed the colour which you've downloaded.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Yeah I've played with it a bit more and there is no way to change just the colour of the font - it just changes automatically based on your wallpaper colour and theme. So I have the basic Samsung wavey moving wallpaper, when it's set to orange the font is black, when it's set to purple the font is white. I don't see any way to override it, sadly.

Hi @gambiting

Yes the theme written by a developer may also alter the font.

I'm not 100% sure but have a look at Goodlock and it's various plug-ins and or Nova Prime tp see if they allow the customisation you want.

Sending feedback to Samsung Members App may help for the future.

Long press the lock screen, select the font you want to change and it'll come up with a choice of colours.

This new UI update is a pain in the rear end. It has gone and changed my entire phone settings without permission. It was like having to sort it out all over again. My bug bare is that I cannot change the colour of the font for the weather app or the very top line where you have your charging percentage, signal information etc. They used to all be white and now black, not to mention my weather widget can no longer be found and stuck with a horrid compromise. So frustrating
