Cannot stop selfie image and video from flipping

No matter how many times I changed the setting on my phone camera app to stop flipping the image and to keep it as the camera sees it it does not make any difference at all. I have tried clearing the cash I have tried clearing all data I have forced closed the app I have restarted the phone I've toggled the setting over and over and nothing makes any difference the camera still flips. I need to take a selfie of myself holding a book and I need the text to be showing the correct way and this is very irritating.

So, do you have save selfies as previewed turned off? I've just tried it and it works with text being the right way around and me in too

I know and it works fine on mine with it being toggled off. Wipe phone cache too

I've wiped cache and storage more than once.

using Samsung camera app? Ver 14.1.0.1.7

Version 14.1.00.71 The latest version is already installed

Are you sure that is the correct version?

Have you resolved it? I think you might need to go ahead take the video then check gallery. It might have infact flipped
