Cannot hear person in calls

Hi

I have an S24 and for some reason today when I make a phone call I cannot hear the person at the other end, but they can hear me perfectly fine. I can't even hear when the phone is ringing when I dial it. The audio works fine on everything else, and I can also make WhatsApp calls and hear perfectly fine, but if I just try to do a normal phone call it doesn't work. Is this a known issue and if so is there a way to get it working again?

I put my SIM card in my old S20 and I can make and hear calls perfectly fine so it is not a SIM card or network issue. I also downloaded the Google phone app and having exactly the same problem with that.

Yes, I've done that, and also done a force stop of the app

Have you tried using a different call app? There is a Samsung one and a Google one.

My phone is doing the same now as of 2 days ago.

restarted, volume up, speaker working fine, no bluetooth connected. Aaaaarrgghhh

I'm having exact issue. Spoken to somebody around an hour ago but now I can't!

Have the same issue which started today. Incoming call and couldn't hear the caller, but they could hear me. Tried calling the caller back and could hear the ringing tone, but once the call was answered I couldn't hear them. Called my phone from wifes phone and same one way issue of not being able to hear.

Tried speakerphone and also a bluetooth headset and same issue

• Checked volume
• Rebooted phone
• Applied the latest update
• Test call via Whatsapp (works fine)

I'm loathed to do a Factory Reset, since it takes forever to setup all the apps again (especially banking) and this approach seems very extreme to fix an issue with no certainty it will definitely fix it.

Anyone managed to resolve the issue?

I am having the same problem but can hear fine through a WhatsApp call. Any ideas please?
