Cannot hear person in calls

Hi

I have an S24 and for some reason today when I make a phone call I cannot hear the person at the other end, but they can hear me perfectly fine. I can't even hear when the phone is ringing when I dial it. The audio works fine on everything else, and I can also make WhatsApp calls and hear perfectly fine, but if I just try to do a normal phone call it doesn't work. Is this a known issue and if so is there a way to get it working again?

I put my SIM card in my old S20 and I can make and hear calls perfectly fine so it is not a SIM card or network issue. I also downloaded the Google phone app and having exactly the same problem with that.

Didn't work for me either sadly. It happened to my mum's phone. Just a thought. Is anyone else's contract due? My mum's contract is up in a week or so.

Good afternoon, i have just resolved my issue. You need to go to settings, Connections, mobile network and try selecting a provider that's not currently yours, im with Vodafone so selected EE. It wouldn't connect so i then had to select Vodafone which then re connected me. Put the phone in Plane mode for 10 seconds. Then try making a call when back out of plane mode. My problem was solved

Hi for some reason yesterday I can call out they can hear me bit I cannot hear them...what's app is fine and I have tried to reboot my phone but it's still the same I have a galaxy S24

I've tried everything including the one about resetting app preferences and the one about the service provider and still isn't working.

Had the same issue where I couldn't hear anything on a call but they could hear me. Luckily my dad found this page and on page 5, found a troubleshoot from user: Members_0EFxcXC  and it's fixed the issue! Woohooo. 

Settings > Mobile network (change it to a network you're not with, then switch it back to your network) Example: I'm with Vodafone, switched it to EE then back to Vodafone. Then put phone into Airplane mode for about 10 seconds and then switched that off, called by dad and it worked!  Thank you
