How do I revert or rollback the OneUI 7 update?
The notification & settings swipe down feature, in conjunction with the app drawer vertical layout, is a pretty egregious muscle memory and reflex change. I would like to revert to OneUI 6 or disable these settings. Does anyone know how to revert the OneUI Update? I've read some mentions of a tool named Odin?
I would like to keep my Samsung, but honestly ... if future updates are more interested in changing HOW I am forced to interact with my phone rather than giving me new features or security enhancements, it might be time to look at competitors.

Found a major one: OneUI 7 switches your Long Press side button to an AI service. Change your side button setting to the power panel to be able to shut off your phone.

No its horrible. I feel like i have a stupid iphone now. They slowly took things away that i liked an then bam! Change everything an i hate it i feel like i dont know how to use my phone or where things are anymore like why did you do that an not give us the customization to have the UI different ways. It makes not sense at all im definitely about to leave samsung!

No this doesnt fix anything! I want my apps in pages left to right not a long scroll drawer an i want them in alphabetical order not "custom order" whatever the heck that mean because it just jumbles everything around stupidly an theres no way to customize it other than moving every single app icon individually. If this is an AI update thats supposed to make this better an easier. Why is it more complicated and worse with less option?!

Is there a way to revert the battery display changes? I used to be able to just tell what my battery percentage was off a glance, but now I can't anymore. Same thing for the time as well, on the lock screen. The battery display I'm talking about is the one on the top right corner of your phone screen.
Edit: for more clarification, now it's just White. There's no more "It's both color coded, and has easy to read text inside for ease of use!" Now it's both hard to read, and hard to tell. In my opinion, It should not take me 5 seconds to read my percentage when it's on the top right corner of my screen 24/7.

Thank you, that helps a lot.

Yeah, Agreed. I don't think a software update should have to be undone because they add this kind of stuff. The 'scroll drawer' is bad too.. Like you said. they just added a bunch of stuff without an option to opt out of it. I'd maybe understand if they changed one thing, but they didn't.

Also.. it made everything worse, not just the stuff Goan gave solutions to... All the features of my phone run slower now, if I open up my opened apps, (The 3 lines button, next to the home button which is a circle), That's both slower, and more inefficient.. not to mention that egregious battery display as well, and there's also the fact that everything is slower. I appreciate the fact that some of this can be undone, but in my opinion, removing ease of use and slowing down your phone in exchange for a bit more security is not worth it.
Edit: Alright, I had to actively look for something I liked with the update. Literally two things. On the lock screen, when you tap the time it doesn't turn off your phone after half a second like before, otherwise worse, but i appreciate that. Second thing is that the keyboard is a bit more responsive. That's literally all I could find that was objectively better. (I don't mind the new icons, not particularly prefer or not prefer. That's why I said objectively better.)

Yeah, the lock screen clock looking like an iphone has to go. If I wanted people to think I was an imbecile who has trouble telling time I'd have just gotten an iphone in the first place.

Long press on the lock screen without unlocking it to access settings for it. Let's you fix the clock

Thanks, so that makes my only complaint that Cannot be undone via settings changes being the phone being slower, and the godforsaken battery display.
