When are Samsung going to release fixes for the S24 Ultra camera? I've had this phone since the day it released and I've pretty much hated every second of it. I upgraded from the S21 Ultra and I can honestly say that I got better photos on that... If it wasn't for the fact the screen has gone on it, I'd be back to using that! I'm one of those people that love to capture memories to last a lifetime, but unfortunately it just isn't possible with this phone. I can't ever get it to focus on the subject properly, it's always grainy, selfies have a red tint to them and hardly any detail... I know I'm not the only one having these problems. I've tried every "fix" I've come across but nothing seems to work

I remember moon shots I was taking with the S20U, that phone was shaky and it was difficult to catch a good picture at 100x but when you did, that picture had detail. The S24U is powerful, the camera is steadier, but the zoom lacks detail although it can be satisfactory, I can't say I got value for money. Everyone is praising some Chinese phones powerful zoom, but I am not going to use Chinese phones lol I'm not ready.

Wow beautiful photos. I get beautiful photos too, but there are shortcomings and I'd like them fixed on this phone. I don't feel like getting a new phone everytime there are glitches on a model I just bought. It should be satisfactory from the beginning.

Same, blurry moon 😞
The yellow one is from S24U and the gray ones are from the S20U 20240719_220628_1000020590_1721423192.jpg20240223_030259_1000009827_1708701087.jpg20240223_030502_1000009832_1708701110.jpg

I love the 200 mp and 50 mp but you can't fiddle with them much.

Small zooms are fine on my phone, it's just the 100x zoom I am not happy with.

I think the AI is messing up instead of making it better...

I use both the S21 and S24 Ultra. I can't honestly say the S21 Ultra takes "better" photos but it's different mainly due to the ISPs (Exynos vs Snapdragon). I always preferred the colder look from Exynos so I admit to a bit of bias, however this is purely preferential. In terms of photo quality, even with 100x zoom, I find the S24 does do a better job at cleaning up an image over the S21 Ultra, despite having a technically inferior zoom lens. General photo's both perform great with very similar user experiences. I'd say image quality definitely goes to the S24 Ultra and video recording there's no contest, the S24 wins hands down. Having said all that, the S21 Ultra is still an excellent camera phone and holds up very well even today. My only issue with the S24 Ultras camera was really in zoom transitions, but other than that, it's an excellent camera system.
