Bug with Sports from Google live notifications-how to fix

I noticed that after restarting my phone, the live notification of the last game played reappears in the status bar and stays there until the next notification. When this happens I just toggle off and on Sports from Google in Settings Now Bar. The notification will disappear, but you will not stop receiving live notifications for sports from Google.

Hi, that's an unusual bug with the now bar. I haven't had any problems with my status bar either.

Have you recently updated your device? If you have I would suggest trying this as sometimes bugs can occasionally occur.

To clear your phone's cache partition:

1. Connect your phone to a PC.
2. Turn off your phone (it won't enter Recovery Mode if it's on).
3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Bixby/Power keys simultaneously.
4. Once the Android Recovery screen appears, release both buttons.
5. Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Wipe cache partition."
6. Press the Power button to select it.
7. Use Volume Down to highlight "Yes," then press Power to confirm.
8. After the cache is cleared, press the Power button again to reboot your device.

I remember getting, after ever restart, a repeat notification of the last received sms message. I just swiped it away

After every update I usually clear the cache partition, now I cleared it again after the Google Play System update and the live notifications did not appear.👍

I'll see after the next notification if the bug returns.☺️

NoooooOOoooo 😱😱😱, you don't want to swipe Sports from Google live notifications - if you do that you'll stop getting them, that happened to me once, it took me a week of trying various solutions until I got them back 😂

Okay, I will look around and see if anyone has else has had this problem before and if it does appear I will post their fix here with the link and hopefully that sorts it out for you.
