On the S24, they've made a change to the navigation gesture bar. The old 3-position bar (swipe up for app drawer, home, back) has been replaced with a single bar in the middle that goes home. To go back, you have to swipe in from the sides, and opening the app task drawer is not as straightforward.

I believe it would be beneficial if they provided the option to have the three separate gesture navigation options back. This would allow users to choose the navigation method that they prefer and are most comfortable with. Galaxy S24 Ultra. Galaxy S24+. Galaxy S24

It's not a "3rd party app" - Good Lock and NavStar are made by Samsung. And as Jens says - this is the official fix, such as it is, because Samsung doesn't view this as a bug.

Good Lock is amazing and wonderful and the employees who make it should be given raises. I also am able to keep the clock on the right side of the status bar too, the way it should be, thanks to Good Lock. As Samsung's main developers and Google keep breaking and Android and making it worse, Good Lock returns the removed functionality back to the users where it should be.

Hey! I just wanted to say I'm officially switching back to iPhone. I tried for almost a year without the three bottom bars but I can't do it. I miss them so much and i think I'll have a better time on another phone.

I know this is really old, but I don't find the navstar app.

It has been some time since last i did this, but last time it was this post that solved it for me:

You need to Download the new Version of Navstar from inside of Goodlock
Open Goodlock
Scroll down to Navstar and install
Toggle On and Enable Extra Gestures Settings
Exit Goodlock
Open Phone Settings
Display
- Navigation Bar
- Select Swipe Gestures
- More Options-
- and select the 3 Swipe

Good to know. I realy hate the "new" navigation solution, it is soooo bad.
