On the S24, they've made a change to the navigation gesture bar. The old 3-position bar (swipe up for app drawer, home, back) has been replaced with a single bar in the middle that goes home. To go back, you have to swipe in from the sides, and opening the app task drawer is not as straightforward.
I believe it would be beneficial if they provided the option to have the three separate gesture navigation options back. This would allow users to choose the navigation method that they prefer and are most comfortable with. Galaxy S24 Ultra. Galaxy S24+. Galaxy S24

With this new gesture layout it's also more difficult going forward pages in other apps, like chrome.
They should at least make the swipe gestures more customizable

I genuinely don't want to use my phone anymore because of this. It's ruined my user experience.
I don't buy Apple because I hate stupid function changes for NO REASON so what the actual ***** is this!!?!

That's Completley stupid, thankyou for explaining but that is unfathomable as to why they would do this. I hate it.

The issue with this is that I have other features and apps that swipe from the side which are now interfered with.

You can use GoodLock to move them back to the bottom. It's a pain, not intuitive at all how to change it back (nevermind trying to figure out how to navigate your phone in a new way while trying to do so), and we shouldn't have to use an app to change the functionality of our phones back to what used to be standard.
If you get GoodLock from the Samsung store, get NavStar, enable extra gesture settings, go back to the native phone settings, display, navigation bar, swipe gestures, more options, swipe from bottom.

Smart select is now basically broken using the S-Pen because trying to drag anything sideways just makes it go back and lose whatever you were trying to capture.
This is a horrible change, put it back the way it was.
