On the S24, they've made a change to the navigation gesture bar. The old 3-position bar (swipe up for app drawer, home, back) has been replaced with a single bar in the middle that goes home. To go back, you have to swipe in from the sides, and opening the app task drawer is not as straightforward.

I believe it would be beneficial if they provided the option to have the three separate gesture navigation options back. This would allow users to choose the navigation method that they prefer and are most comfortable with. Galaxy S24 Ultra. Galaxy S24+. Galaxy S24

You first need to install the GoodLock application. NavStar is installed within that application.

I understand how there is a 3rd party solution, but honestly, the app is not even on the Google's App store and you have to get it from Samsung's App store which I don't trust.

And then, even within the app, NavStar has to be installed again all for free??

This is another red flag for me.

Nah. Its absolute trash. I cant even use some apps now without it backing me out every time i swipe and when trying to sort through the task bar it will just click whatever happens to pop up first because you have to swipe and hold to bring it up to begin with. Obviously these aholes are not listening because i just started having this issue after a forced update.

I totally aggree with you. The new gestures are so confusing, also conflict with apps built in swipe feature.

I had to go back to buttons. This is so frustrating

Samsung! Please give us the option to change the buttons back.

it is near impossible to resize an image with the new gestures!

There was nothing wrong with the 3 lines setup. I cannot use 3rd party apps because to change it back because of my work profile.

Totally agree. I've gone back to the buttons on the bottom of the screen because without the 3 swipes it's too hard. But this is a re-learning curve i didn't need. Have Samsung ever heard of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
