Hi, I have an s24 and decided to use the battery protection setting. I have noticed that when battery protection is enabled on maximum which is 80% for full charge and is charging on a samsung wireless charger when the battery reaches 80% and is no longer charging the fan on the charger doesn't switch off and when the battery drops from 80% charging doesn't start again so I wake up with a phone on about 50% charge. Does anyone have the same issue? Just to note when battery Protection isn't turned on the charger works fine.

I have S24U and I noticed if I leave my phone on Basic it consumes battery faster. When the phone is charged I switch from Basic to Adaptive. Adaptive mode seems to save more battery. Also I have set performance profile to Light from Device Care.

I have it set up in routines to change to maximum between certain times at night and to turn on when I get in work as it's constantly on charge but other than that it reverts to basic, I don't have a problem with the cheap wireless charger I use at work it just seems to be a problem with the Samsung charger at home

That is an interesting one @rypw

I only use Samsung Desktop and pad wireless chargers but I do not use the battery protection feature.

My battery is set to adaptive but I leave my performance profile on standard.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I had a closer look last night, I have noticed that when the battery protection is set to maximum and the battery charge gets to 80% the phone says its stopped charging to protect the battery and the charging sign dissapears from the battery level at the top of the screen. What I have noticed is that if you go into device care and look at the battery whilst the phone is still on the charger the status shows charging, maybe this is why the phone isn't telling the charger that the battery is full and therefore turning the charger/fan off
