Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I'm new here where is this forum you're talking about. Usually it takes about 3-5 mins to drop a percent of the battery,but from yesterday my battery darins too fast is there any solution to that

I think the sheer amount of first time posters making the same claim is more the questionable issue.

Well considering I have never used this before and was instructed to do this by Samsung technical team then that's what I done. And what do you mean by people like me, people trying to work out why their phone has been messed up by an update?

I just went into the Samsung phone settings and there is an update for the phone app.  To soon to know if that helped.  But worth a shot.

I wouldn't mind battery drainage if they left old icon. Now it looks like tic tac and is simply super ugly. Someone who designed it must have thought it will be funny trolling to change the icon that way and implement 50% more battery drain. NOT FUNNY!

• I have just completed the update and it has been nothing but buggy besides the battery drain I can barely get through a where in the past I used to have at least today battery on my Ultra 24 there are lock screen notification issues they just don't pop up at all no matter what you change, the camera has gone completely wonky you never know whether it's taking a picture or not ( pressing no longer guarantees a photograph neither does anything else) so you're constantly having to check whether you actually taking your picture or not this is a real problem on holiday, the camera is also incredibly slower meaning you miss most of the shots you want to take that you used to be able to take with no issue, the camera also has problems with Focus the worst is at 12 megapixel, dictation in Outlook has become way bugier than it was before, it's doing weird stuff with apps and widgets. All I can say is do not update.

I have tried disabling just about everything and it seems to make able to no difference.  I have done the maintenance device care clearing I've done reboots I've even gone to develop a debugging to try and figure it out nothing seems to work and it doesn't actually show you where it's draining.

If I go into airplane mode I have battery savings but that is a normal under any conditions.

Deffo been a battery drain issue since the update.

Im running Ultra S24 and sometimes the drop is crazy fast for no reason I can see.

I checked all the apps that were used and seems The usage percentages were high compared to my actual use.

All apps are in sleep mode and I've noticed last night I charged to 100% took it off and it didn't drop from 100 for ages.

Today after 6 mins its dropped to 97% using less than when I tested last night.

Either there is a battery % issue or there is a bug in the ui 7 causing this.
