Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

Worst update, please reset this. My battery is draining down from 100% 0% in 2 hours and this is impacting me. What kind of worst software update is this!

Same issue here, extremely fast drainages and super fast charge does not work as it used to be. Extremely bad update for a" pro supposed to be" phone  , plus icons of NFC Bluetooth missing. Spending so much money for a phone that supposed to help with productivity and having so many issues , makes me think of selling it ASAP.

 I totally agree with you (I'm also an S24 Ultra owner, however, I don't have the battery issue for now), but my proposals were driven by the willingness to help you, guys, try to figure out what causes the fast battery charge leak. Stopping the sensors overnight saves a few percentages of batter on my phone. There is a dedicated icon you can bring on the quick panel to toggle the sensors on and off as you wish. I see no reason for the sensors to work during bed time.
 It would be nice if "Samsung" makes it possible to turn off and on the sensors automatically with "Modes and routines".

Updated to One UI 7 yesterday (May 19th) on my Samsung S24+, battery drainage is substantial. I've only had this phone for 5 months and battery performance was great, got through a day of moderate usage no problem (using only 80% charge for battery optimization).  Battery performance has declined by 50% since this update, very noticeable as I had to charge my phone 3 times yesterday for the first time ever.

The little standard battery optimization tricks out there are not very useful, this is a software driven issue not fixed by optimizations I have already been performing on my device.

I have purchased my Samsung S24 in December 2024, it was all good and recently they released one ui 7 update and i downloaded it.But now I'm facing issues like battery draining and heating issues.        If I just use 10mins of phone (like social media) the phone is heating up and my phone was all good before the update and after update I'm facing all this issue 

So please Samsung make a solution to this problem which I'm facing.
