Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

For me it started with OneUI 6.1 update on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Ut continued with the 7 as well. Did the whole rain dance of resetting restoring, adapting, etc. I even replaced the battery with the OEM part for $140 to no avail... Something has to do with the new software doing something in the background... Curiously, the battery usage percentages do not add up to 100%, soooo some shady dealing is happening here in the background.

Got here after googling the issue, since my battery life is now abysmal. Samsung really messed this one up. Unless it's a planned obsolescence move. In which case, this will be my last Samsung.

Have you tried to wipe out the cache? This usually helps.
Turn off the device.
• Connect the phone to a computer or USB-C headphones. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
• When the Android logo appears, release all three keys.
• Use the Volume Down button to highlight Wipe cache partition.
• Press the Power button to select Wipe cache partition. • Use Volume Down to highlight Yes.
• Press the Power button to confirm the action.

This made zero difference for battery life. It helps free up some storage space, but nothing for battery. I did it. I know 1st hand. No change.

It usually takes a week or two for the phone to learn your usage pattern, then it improves the battery life.

That's not the case here. That's relative to basic battery changes. Look at the size of this topic. Google it. This isn't a simple "relearning" of battery usage. This is a burning thru of battery by nearly 50% faster.
