Battery draining faster after software update

Hello has anyone else experience faster battery drainage after updating one UI 7 on your S24 ultra and if you have experience the same thing has anyone been able to sort out the issue and if yes what have you done

I waited 2 weeks after the ui 7 update some person posted that the battery get better after two weeks later BS??? it dont and a catch partition?? nope and a factory restore did nothing either.. the s24 ultra and older got f.cked on this ui 7 update the s 25 ultra got catered to and got more features and took away from others... samsung sucks ass

your so wrong there GoanGeek 2 weeks still the same BS!!! and them apps updating no way they want you to update everything nope since ui 7 came if I update a app for example 100 mb size its sucks up 800 mb?? mostly google apps and samsung apps do that ... nice suggestion but your wrong...

tons of threads samsung screwed up most of all s 24 ultra and older with this bullshit update to make you buy the s 25 ultra no thanks not my problem samjunk is affected by the trade wars and lack of sales so samsung does this to sell s 25 ultra nice try samjunk not me..

No problems with the battery on my S24 ultra.

 I also had an excessive amount of overheating for a couple of weeks, consuming the battery twice as much. I tried everything, but the only way to solve the problem is a factory reset, I didn't keep the applications and settings.

Now its even better on One UI 7

Since downloading the eagerly awaited one UI7 update I find my battery life is significantly shortened, phone gets hot and goes into forced dark mode while using maps and being charged which it didnt do before. Google assisstant no longer works while google maps is running. 

Anyone else had problems like this ?

Seems like lots of people are having difficulty with the latest update on the S24 series.

A couple of things you might want to consider

1. Battery life can take a hit after an update, so keep monitoring for a week or so.

2. During the week after an update, keep checking for app updates in both Samsung and Google stores.

3. A good old simple phone restart can do wonders.

4. Consider a phone 'wipe cache ( check YouTube videos on it)

5. You can also consider RESETTING your settings only.
