Is charging only to 80% ideal for heavy users? I'm constantly using my phone so charging only to 80 I find myself having to recharge more often. Is that not bad for battery life?

Hi @Members_mhX7NlS No that is not the case, Lithium Batteries are more efficient when not fully chargedhttps://www.techadvisor.com/article/727861/how-to-properly-charge-a-phone-battery.html
However not so much of an issue if you upgrade fairly regularly and depends if it sufficient for your daily needs (if you do not have access to a charger) Personally though I find charging fairly regularly from 20-100% works well enough for me and should be fine if you follow the same practice as a heavy user.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I have always charged my phones to 100% and have had no issues.
It's a personal choice and depends how long you want to keep your phone.
The way I see it your battery will degrade regardless how you charge or use it.
For me I have paid top dollar for my phone and so I'm gonna use it to It's full potential.
Nowadays phones can go easily 3- 5 years without any issues.
Unless you want to get the latest deals.
Most users change phones every two or three years. As it makes sense to be up to date.
I'd say just enjoy your purchase.
