Hi all , I don't use the hearing test part of adapt sound , my question is regarding whether adapt sound just boosts volume when selecting one of the presets ( age presets ) I tried it on ages 60 onwards , played a song and clicked it on and all it seemed to do was increase volume, am I right in saying that ??? Thanks

It increases the volume of certain frequencies because as we age it is harder to hear higher pitched sounds. Instead of using a preset why not just test your own hearing on the phone so it creates a specific setting for your own hearing.

So , as over 60 preset says it Boosts all frequencies " I presume it basically just raises the volume....

Like I said before yes it does, it is based on an average hearing loss for anyone in that age bracket. Not all frequencies are increased by the same amount but they are raised to give a balanced sound as if our hearing is still perfect.
