How do I access the memos taking screen when the screen is on? It appears on the S24 Ultra when I pull out the s-pen while the screen is off.

I find it's full-screen and notetaking simpler and nicer than the normal Samsung Notes.

I've added a picture of what that screen looks like in this post.

Is it possible though to access that same notetaking screen whilst the screen is on?

@Goel

When the pen is out you should get a round icon with a pen to open a menu, and the first option is to create a note. Whenever you write on the screen, it is turn into a note.

After touch the round icon with the pen you get this menu, with the create note option.

Is that what you are looking for?

This unfortunately only opens Samsung Notes. I was looking specifically for the notes app which opens when the screen is off. This is what it looks like:1706818346486.jpg

Even though it might not be exactly what you wish to do, @Goel, you may wish to change what happens when your S Pen is removed (while the screen is on).

As this won't take the precise form of the screen off memo, you could open Settings > Advanced features > S Pen > Click on When S Pen is removed > Choose Create note.

This will be another convenient way to create notes.

I see, but that app what it creates is a note. Does it not?

The look and feel is very different for both. It must be like the video player that can be called from the gallery, but there is no icon to it anymore.

I'll give that a try but would be nice for Samsung to provide some way of accessing the actual screen.

Yeah it's a bit like that, there seems to be no way of accessing that note taking screen without removing the s-pen with the screen off. I like the Samsung Notes but this version is minimalistic and simple to jot down things
