Lock screen memo

Well, I just downloaded the new software update. Sadly, the lock screen memo is still very dim, and I still can't see any way to increase the brightness so that I can actually read it. It's pointless having a function if you can't use it.

Also, to my eye, there doesn't seem to be any improvement in the colour saturation between natural and vivid modes. But perhaps that's just me. PS just adjusted the saturation on the advanced settings. The lockscreen memo is still very disappointing, and dim.

Hi,

Can you make sure you turn Adaptive Colour Tone and Eye Comfort OFF. Once done it adds an Advanced Settings button to the Screen Mode menu. The Vivid settings are in there. Apologies if you have already done this.

No apologies necessary, my friend. I have already done this, though, and it has made zero difference. It needs to have the option that was on the S23 ultra.

A bit drastic I know, but maybe consider a full factory reset. Start from scratch with the new update. Can't guarantee it will work but maybe worth a try? Good luck.

Well, to be honest, if it's not better now with the new update, I can't see a full reset making much difference, if any.

Have you got any other apps that directly affect the screen, like Good Lock or similar?

Maybe uninstall that, do a cache partition wipe, then try to adjust vividness again? Hope you didn't have anything else planned for your Friday 🙂
