WhatsApp "edited" messages

I am a community care worker using a Galaxy S23u and it has been brought to my attention today that when senior staff send out important information regarding clients via WhatsApp group message, then "edit" the message ALL staff using S23u are not receiving the edited version 🤔 this has lead to miscommunication, clients not receiving required calls, correct medication etc. 

Does anybody have the same issue or know how to fix this issue? There are no WhatsApp updates waiting to be installed and only seems to be S23u users.

Have you tried to clear cache from whatsapp, or uninstall and reinstall it? Also what's the version of your WhatsApp you're running?

WhatsApp last update was 16th December....I have cleared WhatsApp cache and it makes no difference....it's only affecting staff with S23u....all the staff with S23u....All other phones are receiving the edited versions, iPhone, Pixel, Nokia etc

Do any of the staff have other models of a Samsung phone and being affected  @rogersdave77  ?

Only staff using S23u...other models of Samsung are not affected

This is a conundrum 🤔 

Are you all using the same app Version of WhatsApp. 

Mine is 2.24.25.77

You can always send feedback via your Samsung Members App and to WhatsApp too.

We are all using the 16th December update, I would assume it 2.24.25.77.....where will I find what version i have on the phone?

Long hold down on the app icon and tap on the i and look at the bottom under version.

As this is obviously important information especially medication then in the interim I would suggest to use a different phone if you are nkt already. 

I'd certainly have a look on WhatsApp forums too.
