Hi guys, In August of this year my s23 ultra was submerged in salt water for around an hour. When I got out I done the usual fixes like a hair dryer, bag of rice etc. this fixed it for about a month until the moisture warnings came back, so i contacted Samsung support about it and they suggested i go to my nearest repair centre (which in my case was an EE store). I explained my issue to the people at the EE store and they took it and examined it, and surprisingly found nothing (despite multiple moisture warnings). They factory reset the device, reflashed the software etc. This worked for about a month, and then the warnings afe back.WHAT DO I DO??

Thanks for reading👀

It will deffo be the salt corrosion, your phone needs an overhaul, corrosion doesn't get any better if you just leave it. Sorry dude, I would seek professional help to get it contact sprayed, or, if your comfortable doing it yourself just get some electric contact spray and powerwash the ***** away. Hope you get it sorted.

ip68 is a way to fool people and sell mobile phones, they even tell us to put it in water without any tension and if it gets damaged then it is not under warranty

100% agree with you, It's a waterproof phone that coincidentally can't be put into water, and isn't covered if it has been in water. So pointless
