Please can someone redesign the forum page.
I am right handed and scroll through the main posts page looking through the content. I do this using my right thumb.
This is fine but quite often the appearing and disappearing post new post button appears under my thumb and gets tapped by accident.
This is obviously in the wrong place.
Either move it to a higher position on the right or move it to the centre of page to allow thumbscrolling

Hey there

I'm afraid I disagree.

On my S24 Ultra the new post button is on the bottom right. Like you I'm right handed and frequently use my right thumb whilst holding the device in the right hand. I've yet to connect to the write a post button. Perfectly placed in my view...

But I appreciate we all have different views 🫠

My device is an S25 Ultra.

What's perfect for you differs from others.
The length of thumb. Size of hand. Span of hand..
Also I am a fast reader and can read a list whilst scrolling. This means once my brain has processed what I have seen and decides let's have a look at that. it is already off the screen so I need to scroll back.
This is when the issue avails itself as the new post button pops up when you scroll up.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Yes we are both similar in the way you describe.

You are spot on, What's perfect (or in this case imperfect) for you differs from others.

Or are you suggesting your view carries more weight than another person's?

My point is that of the millions of devices out there where the user is a member of this forum, how many would sit in each camp? And if Samsung moved it? Would others then complain about the new location?

Totally agree with you piper, Like you and the OP, I'm right handed and have absolutely no problem with the placement of the buttons, I get others may have different preferences but that doesn't mean things need to be changed for their liking.
Maybe it would be a good idea for Samsung to introduce some customisation for the Members app but that's for them to decide.

Hi.

I am right handed and use my phone with one hand.

Here is how I use it.

The phone base is resting on my little pinkie finger.

The other three fingers are supporting the back of the phone.

While my thumb scrolls at around a third up the the phone from the base.

So there is no way my thumb rve hits the new post button.

I can only think you might have small hands and could be an issue.

Also I feel it's just something you gradually get used to

To take on board your grievance maybe they could do it as a floating Icon like you can do with the camera shutter button.

😊

I have quite big hands and when holding the phone like you. My thumb at full stretch on S23U can nearly reach to the share button and the ... Button. I can type whole keyboard with my right thumb. My thumb length is about the same as phone width.
It might also be worth mentioning that I use my phone in 'SIMPLE MODE'.
Your idea of a floating button is good.
