Hi All,

Is anyone experiencing mobile network issue after upgrading to One UI 6.1?

Since I upgraded despite mobile data turned on and It displayed on the taskbar icon 4G+ OR 5G, I still unable to get on the Internet.

I have run Device Care diagnostic and network and sim card checked ok/no error found. I have reset mobile network still nothing.

I have taken the device into the mobile network company for further investigation. All checks performed again, a new sim card was used in SIM 1 tray failed to get on the Internet.

The new SIM card placed in another phone and EVERYTHING worked. The SIM was placed back into my S23 ULTRA and still no access to the Internet.

SIM 2 tray used with the new sim card and got access to the Internet.

Can I revert to One UI 5.1 after upgrading on 28 Mar?

I have further updated my phone to 1 Apr security but the problem still there?

Is anyone experienced the same?

Awaiting your help/support.

Regards

All,
I have managed to get my phone working again. It took about two months. After 3 x returned to Samsung repair facility DESPITE, it passed all tests the issue was still there. I then asked their mobile repair team to visit my home to explain the issue and try to fix it. The first visit was not successful as he didn't come with parts. The second visit, the technician, had a phone with the same issue that resolved itself, so it was the network. Mine was more complex. We tried every then he replaced a small part at the top on the phone which housed the earpiece which has a small antenna and everything worked both sim trays etc. I will suggest getting the sim tray replaced with the charging port and the top earpiece as mentioned. IF your phone is under warranty.

I just had the 6.1 update on my S22 and am having a similar problem. Only one sim works (in either slot) the other is DOA.

Is the solution to a software problem really to have ro replace physical components?! That seems ridiculous.

I know it's a hard pill to sallow by physically replacing parts when the issue stems from software related updates. 😕. I have updated my phone to the latest updates. I will suggest backup your phone and do several factory reset and reset your mobile network APN, get a replacement SIM card, then put your phone in flight mode on/off on several occasions to see if it works.

I have a bran-spanking new Samsung. I've had to install ui6.1 twice. As soon as the install is complete, it requires me to install again.

The most frustrating thing is that it is now demanding for me to insert a SIM card. It has a SIM card. I can't reply to texts because of the error message demanding a SIM card.

hola con todos, tengo este mismo problema, :smiling-face: Samsung hace actualizaciones para matar maquinas o para mejorar? la solución tiene un costo casi la mitad del costo del equipo, no me parece justo.
