Unable to access banking app

I've just got home from being on holiday and before I went I did the update. My banking app was rather slow whilst on holiday and when I returned I saw a new update for the phone. I completed the new update yesterday and still can't get pass the authentication screen on the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, checked with others it works etc. And nothing. Any advice???

Done that too I almost reset the whole phone. Go to settings > connections> more connections and make sure you have Private DNS as automomatic

There was a large outage a few days ago that caused disruption to several major banking institutions. Some users here have said that disabling any ad blockers sorted the problem. Which banking app is it. Halifax seems to be a problem still judging by previous posts on here.
